Operation Arctic Cure
Inspired by the healing power of awesome nature, this National Geographic documentary tells the stories of Bob Woodruff and a team of veterans who went on an expedition to the Arctic. I bring my research skills to bear to test if their experiences of awe in the arctic impacted the team’s well-being, PTSD symptoms, sleep quality, and physiology. Debuts on Nat Geo TV on Feb 19th, 2024, and then can be streamed on Disney+ and Hulu! Here is a clip of Bob talking about the project on Good Morning America. I handled the data (and the saliva tubes) you see in the clip!
